A new container terminal by 2018!
The Port of Strasbourg has chosen the Lauterbourg site to meet the growing needs of container traffic. The setting up of a new container terminal is foreseen by 2018. Rhine Europe Terminals will operate it.
This equipment will be a significant advantage for the companies located in the port area and its hinterland that would like to use not only rail but also river transport for their products in containers.
